韌帶 (ligament) 是指附著於關節周圍,用以加強關節的穩定性的一些特定組織,其組織結構系一些緻密性纖維結締組織構成,韌度強,彈性少,(例膝 關節前方有臏韌帶兩側分別有脛側副韌帶,腓側副韌帶,股骨與脛骨接觸面還有前十字韌帶與後十字韌帶,用以加強膝關節的穩定性)
筋 (腱 tendon) 是指附著於肌肉與骨之連接部份,呈銀白色,其組織結構系一些纖維結締組織構成,但富於膠元,有彈性,(例上肢二頭肌或三頭肌肌腱,通過其把肌肉收縮的衝動,帯動關節活動).
